Our 8 team scholars have competed in The World Scholar's Cup successfully

The World Scholar's Cup competition was held in Ulaanbaatar, for the third year in Mongolia, with 620 students forming 210 teams from 12 international secondary schools and secondary schools with advanced english training.

The contest is for teams of three students that compete in events called Team debate, Collaborative Writing, Scholar's Challenge, Team Questions and Scholar's Bowl. All of the tasks are performed and debated in English.

8 teams in junior division and 5 teams in senior division from Orkhon Khasu school had successfully participated in the "World Scholar's Cup" competition. In the senior division, Orkhon KhaSu’s Bishuubazar. T, 10b student, won the first place based on his combined achievements of four competitions and received the biggest trophy. Team 472 consisting of members of 10b class, Bishuubazar. T, Javkhlantugs. G, and Tsenguun. M, was placed at the fourth by combined achievements of all four competitions while placing at the third by their team at the Scholar’s Bowl competition. In the junior division, team 251 with its members Duurenjargal. B, Gunjinlkham. E, and Enkhsoyol. M, was placed at fifth for the Team Debate. Samandbadraa. T, 6a class student, achieved the first place at Scholar’s Bowl competition based on personal achievement.

All teams from our school are invited to the next International Rally and they have won the right to choose their location for the second stage of the World scholar's cup, from the cities Beijing, Astana, Amsterdam, Sydney, Manila and Durban.

“World Scholar’s Cup” тэмцээнийг Улаанбаатар элит дунд сургууль Монголд 3 дахь жилдээ амжилттай зохион байгуулж, олон улсын статустай болон англи хэлний гүнзгийрүүлсэн сургалттай 12 дунд сургуулийн 630 суралцагчид 210 баг болон оролцлоо.

Уг тэмцээнд суралцагчид гурав гурваараа баг болж, багийн мэтгэлцээн (Team debate), багаараа эсээ бичих (Collaborative writing), багийн тест сорил (Scholar’s challange), багийн асуулт, хариулт (Scholar’s Bowl) гэсэн дөрвөн төрлөөр өрсөлддөг бөгөөд бүх даалгаврыг анли хэл дээр гүйцэтгэж, мэтгэлцдэгээрээ онцлогтой юм.

Олон улсын Кембрижийн хөтөлбөртэй Орхон ХаСү сургуулийн дунд насны 8, ахлах насны 5 нийт 13 баг “World Scholar’s Cup 2019” тэмцээнд амжилт дүүрэн оролцлоо. Ахлах насны ангилалд 10б ангийн суралцагч Т.Бишүүбазар 4 төрлийн тэмцээний нийлбэр онооны хувийн амжилтаар 1-р байрт шалгарч хамгийн том цомыг гардан авлаа. 10б ангийн 472 тоот багийн гишүүд болох Т.Бишүүбазар, Г.Жавхлантөгс, М.Цэнгүүн нар нийт 4 төрлийн тэмцээний амжилтаар багаараа 4-р байрт, багийн асуулт хариултын тэмцээний төрөлд 3-р байрт шалгарлаа. Дунд насны ангилалд 251 тоот багийн гишүүд болох Б.Дүүрэнжаргал, Э.Гүнжинлхам, М.Энхсоёл нар багаараа мэтгэлцээний төрөлд 5-р байрт, 6а ангийн суралцагч Т.Самандбадраа асуулт хариултын тэмцээнд хувийн амжилтаар 1-р байрт тус тус шалгарлаа.

Манай сургуулиас оролцсон бүх баг амжилттай оролцож, “World scholar’s cup” олон улсын тэмцээний Бээжин, Астана, Амстердам, Сидней, Манила, Дурбан гэсэн зургаан хотод болох дараагийн шалгаруулалтад оролцох эрхтэй боллоо.
