سؤال: بدأت المشكلة عندنا بطريقة غير مباشرة؛ لاحظنا أن بعض أكياس المواد المخزنة أصبحت ممزقة، ثم وجدنا آثارًا صغيرة بالقرب من الجدار. في البداية لم نفكر في وجود فئران، لأننا لم نشاهد أي فأر داخل المنزل، لكن تكرار العلامات جعلنا نعيد فحص المخزن بالكامل.
المخزن يحتوي على كراتين وأغراض قديمة لا نستخدمها يوميًا، وبعد إخراج جزء منها وجدنا بعض الفضلات خلف الصناديق وفي زوايا مظلمة. هنا بدأنا نشك أن القوارض قد تكون موجودة منذ فترة وتختبئ في أماكن لا نصل إليها بسهولة. لذلك بدأنا نبحث عن تجارب سكان جدة حول مكافحة حشرات بجدة لمعرفة الطريقة المناسبة للتعامل مع هذه الحالات، خصوصًا أن التخلص من القوارض لا يعتمد فقط على وضع المصائد.
