Many studies have shown that there are clear advantages students of bilingual schools have compared to students from ordinary schools. At the same time, teachers of bilingual schools are required to be constantly improving themselves professionally and personally. One of them is mastery of the English language.
It's important to improve a teacher's English knowledge, even if they teach the national curriculum instead of an international curriculum, due to its importance for providing sources of knowledge which are limited in Mongolia. The English-speaking teacher walks alongside the world and constantly explores and develops the progress of their educational quality.
Henceforth, 90% of the teachers from our school attend regular English lessons on Saturdays. This year our teachers have been divided into three groups, and next year they're attempting to reach the levels required for the Common European Framework of Reference for Language's(CEFR) B1, B2, and C1. Utilizing the school holiday, our teachers have been studying English every day.
Good luck to our teachers!
